2023-24 ROOM & BOARD
Room & Board fees include Standard Board (lunch and dinner on all workshop days) and shared bedroom accommodation with a same gender roommate (separate beds). Participants may elect to upgrade their Room & Board package for additional fees.

• Theatre Ticket Package: $270 / 6000CZK (6 performances from PSC, the National Theatre & other top Czech theatres)
• Two-Day Trip to Cesky Krumlov: $325 / 7200CZK (including transport, lodging, daily breakfast & dinner, Revolving Theatre tickets & tour of the world’s oldest operating Baroque theatre)

*Note: Non-refundable 50% Deposit Due on Acceptance to secure spot in the Intensive. Space is limited and available on a first-registered/first-served basis. Registration is not complete and students may not sign up for electives until all fees are paid in full. Total Balance due and must be received in full by May 1, 2024 for the Summer sessions and December 1, 2023 for the Winter sessions. Please note fees are fixed in either US dollars or Czech Koruna (Crowns) at a rate of $1 to 23CZK. If paying by check, payments may only be made in US dollars through our US bank. All fees and charges for bank/wire transfer payments must be covered by the applicant and will not be deducted from the total due. No refunds will be granted regardless of circumstances or participants inability to participate. Students are responsible for travel to/from Prague, other meals and any personal expenses. Students will be met at the airport, and assisted in local travel if they arrive and depart on official Intensive arrival/departure dates.

Financial Assistance: Prague Shakespeare Company, a not-for-profit organization, is committed to developing the finest generation of up and coming classic artists. All financial aid is in the form of Room and Board Scholarships – we do not offer financial aid towards Tuition. Two (2) $1,500 Room and Board Scholarships will be awarded in both the Summer and Winter Intensives to students in each of the following categories – Actors, Directors, Designers, Stage Managers and Dramaturgs – who demonstrate exceptional talent and require financial assistance. In addition to our highly competitive major Room and Board Scholarships, up to five (5) $500 Room and Board Scholarships are available in both the Summer and Winter Intensives to students in each of the following categories – Actors, Directors, Designers, Stage Managers and Dramaturgs – not chosen for major funding. All Room and Board Scholarships are based on Standard Room and Board, and students receiving aid will be housed in shared bedrooms with a private bed.  Only one Scholarship/Discount per student. Students wishing to be considered for financial assistance must submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words detailing need and requesting a specific amount of support. Decisions on financial aid will be made no later than two weeks after the request is received and are final.

SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING COVID-19: The health and safety of our artists, audiences, faculty, students and team members is the first priority for Prague Shakespeare Company. We will take all recommended precautions necessary for safe participation in our Shakespeare Intensives, including but not limited to providing masks and hand-sanitizer to all faculty and participants as well as antigen testing and temperature checks before classes, rehearsals and performances, if needed.  In light of the COVID-19, participants in all Intensives must provide proof of vaccination.
